Weekly Town Hall – Amanda Cook, “Forensic Examination Response Network”, and Angelica Sandaval, “1614 Revival Foundation”
August 12 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Amanda Cook is with the Forensic Examination Response Network (FERN) and Angelica Sandaval is with the 1614 Revival Foundation
FERN is a team of specially trained nurses caring for people after violent crimes, including assault and abuse. We provide medical care across Eastern Idaho, document injuries, and support patients through life’s hardest moments. And the 1614 Revival Foundation is a Domestic Violence Housing & Transition Center. Together they help assault survivors overcome the things they have been through. Revival means more than just survival. It represents: Restoration – Rebuilding what was lost; New Hope – A fresh start, free from fear; Strength – Becoming empowered, not just surviving but thriving; and that every survivor has the power to rise again.
Amanda and Angelica will be here to explain what their organizations do and the challenges, including legislative challenges, they are facing.
WestBank Convention Center, 525 River Pkwy, Idaho Falls, ID
