Weekly Town Hall – Candidates for Idaho Falls City Council Seats 4, 6, and 2 will discuss the issues and answer questions

The candidates running for Idaho Falls City Council seat 4, seat 6, and seat 2 will discuss the issues and answer questions from those in attendance. ive presentations and answer questions from those in attendance.  All city residents can vote for all of the city council seats.  Currently there are two (2) candidates running for seat 4, the incumbent, Jim Francis, who has served for eight years, and Jared Dominick.  For Seat 6 there are also two candidates running, Jim Freeman, the incumbent, and James T Skinner.  All of the candidates have been invited to attend the town hall.  Currently, Jared Dominick and James Skinner have committed to attend.

Brandon Lee, a candidate for seat 2, will also join us as as he is unable to join us on October 8th with the other candidates for seat 2.

As with the mayoral race, what happens with the city of Idaho Falls affects all of eastern Idaho. It is very important to learn about candidates for all elected positions because what they do will affect you and your family. What is their vision for Idaho Falls and East Idaho? What is their background. Why are they running – are they looking out for you or are they running for their own self-interest? Is what they say reflective of their past behavior?

So come ask the hard questions and learn about the candidates. Your and your family’s lives will be affected by who is elected.
