Weekly Town Hall – Constantin Querard & Scott Bradley – “U.S. Term Limits” efforts to modify the Constitution, possibly by an Article V Convention – How risky are they?

Constantin “CQ” Querard is the Western Regional Director, for the organization US Term Limits.  Constantin has been active in politics for several decades working on campaigns for candidates from the State Legislative level to the White House. In addition to his involvement with Congressional Term Limits, Constantin is a board member at Balanced Budget Now!, the national group advancing a balanced budget amendment to the US Constitution.

Constantin will be here to explain what the U.S. Term Limits effort is all about and why we should support their efforts.  Constitutional Scholar Scott Bradley will also be here to hear what U.S. Term Limits is proposing and to help engage everyone in a fruitful discussion on what risks, if any, there are with what is being proposed. 

Some have said that the threat of calling an Article V convention may be what is necessary to force the Congress to institute an amendment to the Constitution to require term limits on congressmen. Others say that it is a dangerous path to take to even think about having an Article V convention. This will be a lively discussion that will help us all be better informed on the issues with both Term Limits and an Article V Convention.
