WEEKLY TOWN HALL – Understanding Idaho’s ‘Water Wars’ – Movie Night, “The Conquest of the Snake”
July 3, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Many of us are just becoming aware of the ‘water wars’ that are occurring in Idaho, especially east Idaho. The Conquest of the Snake is a documentary film about Southern Idaho’s Magic Valley, the Snake River, and how a group of determined people transformed the arid desert into an agricultural powerhouse. This documentary is a start in helping us understand some of the water issues Idaho is facing.
As always, attendance to our Town Halls is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
